               “I did a bit of shopping,”
   Her lips purckered and she stared up at the other playfully. He knew full well what she had done today, but still he would avoid it. The brunette gestured to the box with a tilt of her head and took one of his hands in hers. 
                  “Just open it, my oh so subtle way of saying
                   happy birthday to the light of my life.”
   The archaeologist and kissed his knuckles a few times gently.

   ”I can see that…”

   Lagoon blues shift to the box, but only for a moment before he was staring back at the woman. Oh he knew what she had been out shopping for. As kind as it was—- he didn’t like when people spent money on him. A soft sigh escaped parted lips. Defeated. Leon grinned, lifting her hand to leave a kiss of his own upon the skin of her hands.

   ”Thank you, dear…” He replied, taking a seat next to the brunette as he picked up the box. Glancing at her before easing the bow off and opening the box. It had a bit of weight to it, he noted. Eyes light up at what was found inside. A beautifully crafted gun and a shinning pair of silver necklaces. He lifted the jewelry up, briefly reading over the words, a gentle smile forming over his features. Leaning over into the woman he placed his lips to her cheek. ”You didn’t have to buy me anything, babe… But thank you. I love it.”
